I'm a sophomore at Bellevue College and I will be transferring to Eastern Washington University in the Fall on a soccer scholarship. I needed a strength conditioning program and my Dad recommended For U Fitness. I've been training with Shane Yama for about three months and I can see the results. With his knowledge and experience, he has devised a strength training routine to prepare me for EWU. By staying alert and responding to my body, I remain injury-free through each exercise. Each session we build upon exercises while bringing in new ones to stay in the best shape possible. By the time I transfer, I will have met all my weight training goals and be the strongest and fastest on the field.

I am very happy with Lisa’s personal training sessions through For U Fitness. She is punctual, reliable, and very skilled. I have sciatica issues and she has designed my workouts with that in mind which means I have had no exercise induced sciatica pain at all. My wife and I just want to comment on how well Kathryne does her job to help keep us on track.
I have issues with focusing on tasks and I needed to loose a LOT of weight. My wife just needed to get back into a good healthy routine.
Kathryne works with me 3 days a week and with my wife one of those days. Kathryne is very much a professional trainer without coming across as a drill sargeant. She knows how to adapt the workout based on our day to day body differences. Because of her support, I think about how and when I eat, I notice a huge difference in my sleep pattern and I notice a difference in my day to day energy level.
It is tough work; there is no doubt about it. But, it took me a long time to get to the weight I was so I know it takes time to lose the fat and build the muscle. I'm not dropping pounds rapidly which was my original goal. I AM losing size and building muscle, though, and that is FAR more important than dropping the actual weight. Old clothes are starting to fit again which means we can offset the cost of having Kathryne come in by not having to buy new clothes to fit us.

Kathryne is marvelous. My wife has also joined us in the workout and she is very happy as well. What I really love about Kathryne is that she is exceptionally punctual and never flakes. Comes on time, gives a heads up before she is leaving, gets us a good work out, motivates us, pushes us and everything. I just love to work with her. I have seen trainers who charge more than double what you guys do and show less than half the professionalism that Kathryne shows. It is a soothing feeling to see that my personal trainer really cares about me and is willing to go that extra mile with a smile. Every trainer talks about professional outlook. Shane, your team defines it.

I’ve been working with Suzette for 5 months and I can say she is a great trainer! She is very thoughtful about how she designs my workouts each time, and she does a great job changing up the workout to keep it interesting and to work around my injuries. She is reliable and always on time, and she’s flexible to work with my schedule. She works me hard but we also we have fun and she is very encouraging and supportive. I actually look forward to getting up and working out with her!

"Suzette is a wonderful trainer. She is so encouraging and fun that even though she made me work out really hard, we laughed so much during our sessions that the hours always flew by. Suzette was also always attentive in correcting my form and paying special attention to safety. I have been working with Kathryne for a little over a month and a half now and want to express how much I feel better about myself since she has been working with me. The weight has been coming off (slowly but surely, due to my love of junk food) but the biggest result is I feel more energized and healthy. Being a 21 year old girl it’s hard to choose working out over hanging out with friends but Kathryne makes it fun and worthwhile. She is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Her easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. She makes each workout challenging but only to my benefit. She motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results I am seeking!
